 Here is a recipe for a classic vanilla cake:


Ingredients:


2 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

4 large eggs

2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract

1 cup milk

Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.


In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.


In a separate large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
